Kindcentrum Toverberg

Welcome to the after-school care (BSO) of Kindcentrum Toverberg, located at Toverberg 4 in Zoetermeer-Meerzicht. We are part of Junis Childcare and work closely with primary school De Toverberg and Meerpunt under one roof. Our after-school care is designed for children aged 4 to 12 and offers a safe, stimulating place where fun and development go hand in hand. Our qualified staff pick up the children on foot from nearby schools. For schools located further away, we use our own bicycle buses or cooperate with a taxi service, ensuring every child arrives safely. Inside, children enter a space that invites exploration and play. We have a large gym where we organise sports and movement activities, from dodgeball and dance to building obstacle courses. We also provide a craft cupboard filled with materials for building, painting and creating. Children love constructing tall towers with Kapla or making beautiful artwork with paper, cardboard and paint. Our outdoor area borders the Westerpark. Here children can run around the playground, explore the nature garden or simply enjoy jumping and playing. We believe it is important that children can relax after school and release their energy. At the same time, we offer quiet moments, for example by reading a book together or chatting in our cosy seating area. During school weeks we are open Monday, Tuesday and Thursday from 14:45 to 18:30, and Wednesday and Friday from 12:00 to 18:30. During holidays we provide holiday care from 07:00 to 18:30, so parents can rely on us all year round. Additionally, we offer a breakfast club on request, welcoming children from 07:30 before school starts. We follow Junis’ vision: children are given space to be themselves, to play, learn and grow in a familiar environment. Our staff are ready with a listening ear, a helping hand and a smile.
