Kindcentrum Torenlei

Kindcentrum Torenlei is located at Dorpsstraat 8 in the heart of Esbeek, housed in the atmospheric Adrianus Church. Under the wings of Etuda, we provide after-school care (BSO) for children aged 4 to 12. Thanks to our small-scale setup, every pedagogical employee knows each child by name; the lines are short and the atmosphere is homely. Our BSO is situated on the upper floor of the characteristic church building. Every month, we create an activity calendar together with the children, allowing them to contribute their own ideas and wishes. This way, we alternate creative workshops with sporty challenges and discovery trips in the village and the surrounding nature. We regularly use the nearby gymnasium and, during holidays and study days, we go out for the entire day with fellow BSOs from Etuda. We value outdoor play. Our garden with a large sandbox invites romping and building, while we also venture out to explore the forests and meadows around Esbeek. The activities always align with the children's world of experience and stimulate their curiosity, independence, and social skills. Parents stay informed through the Parro app: short messages, photos of outings, and important announcements. Every two weeks, they also receive a digital newsletter with upcoming activities and practical information. For those who prefer a paper calendar, that is of course possible. Kindcentrum Torenlei is more than just childcare; we form the heart of the Esbeek community. Through close collaboration with Torenlei primary school, children can seamlessly transition to BSO after school in a familiar environment. This makes the transition easy and reassuring for both children and parents.
