Welcome to Kindcentrum ’t Hieker Nust, our warm and secure daycare center located at Westeinde 6 in the heart of Hijken. As part of Stichting Kits Primair, we have been providing trusted childcare for children aged 0 to 4 years for over 25 years in a harmonious and respectful environment where every child can develop at their own level. In our daycare center, care and attention for your child and their development are paramount. We work in horizontal groups where babies, toddlers, and preschoolers have separate spaces tailored to their specific needs. Our pedagogical staff create a continuous developmental line where children can grow not only cognitively but also socially and emotionally into confident children with self-knowledge and a positive attitude. Our program is rich and varied. Daily, we offer fun and challenging activities that connect with the world of young children. We start the morning with a circle time focused on language activities, followed by working and playing with various materials such as toys, play materials, books, and theme boxes. Making music is part of our daily routine, as is outdoor play in our secure garden. For the youngest ones, we provide customized bottle feeding and offer rest moments in separate sleeping areas where each child has their own bed. We believe it is important that parents are involved in their child's development. Through our parent portal, you can follow the daily routine, view photos, and access documents. We work with a fixed daily schedule that provides structure and peace, taking into account individual sleep and eating patterns. Fruit and drinks are included, and we accommodate any allergies or special dietary needs. Our daycare center is housed in a modern, secure building with access control.
