Kindcentrum St. Jozef

Welcome to Kindcentrum St. Jozef in Haghorst, a warm and familiar place where children aged 4 to 13 are welcome for before- and after-school care. We are located in the same building as primary school St. Jozef and work closely with the education team. This means children and parents already know the teachers before the step to grade 1/2 is made. Our BSO consists of three home groups: two for younger children (4-7 years) and one for older children (8-13 years). The groups are small-scale and homely, so everyone knows each other and your child quickly feels at home. We have a bright space on the first floor with different corners to play, craft or just relax. We also have access to the gym, the theatre hall and the spacious schoolyard with green play areas. Each week is all about discovery, movement and creativity. We work with DoenKids!, a challenging activity programme focused on sport, play and nature. Once a week, someone from the movement bureau comes to give active movement lessons and games, both indoors and outdoors. We also regularly organise craft and playful activities that match the children's interests. Our pedagogical staff are ready every morning and afternoon to welcome your child. We are open from 07:00 to 18:30 and offer both before- and after-school care. A warm meal is available on request. We use an app to keep parents informed of daily activities and to stay in touch.
