Kindcentrum Snijders

Kindcentrum Snijders is the place in Rijswijk where children aged 4 to 12 can discover, play and grow together. We provide after-school care (BSO) in our own school building at Willem van Rijswijckstraat 13. Our BSO works closely with Kinderopvang Morgen, so children can stay in a familiar environment right after school. Learning through play and having fun are central to our approach. Children are given space to follow their own curiosity and develop at their own pace. We work with themes that connect to the children's world of experience and offer activities such as arts and crafts, sports and games, technology, nature and forest activities, and creative subjects. We also regularly organize excursions to the surrounding area. Our pedagogical staff guide the children with attention and receive a brief verbal handover from the teacher every day about how the school day went. This allows us to optimally align the line between school and after-school care. Parents are kept informed of all activities and developments through our own KC app. We believe it is important that children feel safe and at home with us. That is why we attach great value to a warm and familiar atmosphere, in which there is room for both individual initiative and collaboration. Parents are more than welcome to think along and participate through our KC Council and Parent Council.
