Kindcentrum Rehoboth

Kindcentrum Rehoboth is a Christian child centre in Valthermond offering integrated education and childcare for children from 0 to 13 years under one roof. Our site at Rooilaan 154 provides a safe and homely environment where children can develop optimally. For the youngest children we run a day-care centre (KDV) with a maximum of 15 places, specially designed to meet the needs of babies and toddlers. Our pedagogical policy is based on the four core goals of Riksen-Walraven: emotional security, personal development, social development and the transmission of cultural norms and values. We aim to give children a second home, a place where they feel comfortable and safe and where parents can bring their child with peace of mind. By offering a range of services we support parents in combining work and care responsibilities. The day-care centre is open from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. We work with permanent, professional childcare staff who give each child personal attention. For the youngest children we have separate sleeping areas and a secure outdoor playground. We start early with language and numeracy activities to stimulate development and ensure a smooth transition to toddler care. Communication with parents takes place via Social Schools and KidsConnect, through which we report daily on your child’s development and well-being.
