Welcome to the after-school care (BSO) of Kindcentrum Regenboog, located at Warmoezenierstraat 36 in Schiedam. We are part of Komkids and provide after-school care for children aged 4 to 12. Our team welcomes children directly after school in the school building or in our own care space. We always start with a shared moment: relaxing together with some food and drinks so everyone can unwind from the school day. After that, it’s time for relaxation and discovery. Children choose what they want to do. They can play outside on the spacious playground, join in sports activities, get creative in the arts corner, take part in a workshop, or simply chill in the chill-out area. We offer a safe and homely atmosphere where every child can be themselves and develop their own interests. We work closely with De Regenboog primary school. After school, children walk to the care location under the guidance of our pedagogical staff. Older children go to Het Mirakel, located across from the school. Younger children stay in the school building. This keeps the transition from school to after-school care small and familiar. Our BSO is also open on teacher training days and during school holidays. We organize fun outings and activities such as sports days, creative workshops, or a visit to a play forest. We tailor our program to the age and interests of the children, ensuring every day is different and engaging. Komkids stands for professional childcare with attention to every child. We work with familiar faces so children and parents always see people they know. We keep parents informed through our app and are always available for questions or a chat.
