Kindcentrum Raam

Welcome to Kindcentrum Raam, located at Bosveld 118 in Uden. We are a daycare centre (KDV) for children aged 0 to 4, and part of the Integral Child Centre (IKC) Raam, where education and childcare come together seamlessly. Our daycare works closely with Kanteel childcare and offers a warm, safe place for children to grow up in a familiar environment. Everything we do revolves around the child. We work with vertical groups, where children aged 0 to 4 play and learn together. This stimulates the development of older children and gives the youngest the chance to learn from their older friends. Siblings can also play together, contributing to a sense of security. We follow a clear daily rhythm with fixed moments for play, sleep, meals and outdoor time. Every day, we go to the gym or hall with all children from 1.5 years old to move, climb and clamber. Outdoor play is also a fixed part of our programme: running, jumping, cycling and exploring in our own garden. Our pedagogical staff work according to the pedagogical plan developed in collaboration with Kiem Education & Childcare. We use the VE method Pyramid, through which we work thematically on language, motor skills, social skills and creative development. Themes such as 'Home', 'Spring', 'Art' and 'Food & Drink' return annually, always adapted to the age and development of the child. We work with recognisable corners such as a reading corner, home corner and creative corner, and use 'loose parts' such as coloured rice, kinetic sand and shells to stimulate children's imagination. Our group rooms are furnished as living rooms with a dining table, sofa and play corners. Everything is at child height and provided with pictograms, so children can make their own choices. We offer hot meals, fresh fruit and healthy snacks. For the very youngest, we provide bottle feeding, nappies and care products. There are separate sleeping areas and quiet places for children who need to unwind. We have an open-door moment, where children from different groups can meet and do activities together, always under the guidance of a fixed pedagogical professional. In short: Kindcentrum Raam is a place where children feel safe and at home, where they can grow at their own pace and where parents can leave their child with peace of mind.
