Welcome to Kindcentrum ONS Stekkie, our homely after-school care located at Kerklaan 9-11 in Streefkerk. We provide care for children aged 4 to 13 in a characteristic building shared with primary school De Alexander. Through this unique collaboration, we can welcome children directly after school in a familiar environment. Every child is at the center of our approach. We believe children develop best when they can be themselves. That's why we create a safe environment with room for individuality and growth. Our pedagogical staff guide each child at their own pace and stimulate unique talents. We work according to our core values: safety, space, and growth. Children who feel safe go on discovery journeys. At our BSO, children have the freedom to discover themselves while we challenge them to learn and grow through play. Our after-school care is set up on a small scale, ensuring short lines between parents, children, and staff. This personal approach creates a homely and cozy atmosphere. We offer numerous activities in and around our location. Children can help with our vegetable garden and take care of the chickens. We regularly go outside: playing in our own playground, exploring nature, or having fun in the forest. Additionally, we organize creative activities and sports challenges. For children who want extra movement, we even have a Sports BSO where they can get acquainted with various sports. During holiday weeks, we're open all day and organize special outings and activities. We also offer before-school care from 7:00 AM. Children from other primary schools are of course also very welcome at our BSO. We work together with parents on their child's development and consider good communication essential. Newcomers always start with an introductory session, so both child and parents can get familiar with our care.
