Kindcentrum Lourdes

Kindcentrum Lourdes is tucked away behind a former convent at Jisperweg 52 in Westbeemster, surrounded by the green fields of the Beemster polder. For over 100 years we have provided a safe, caring place where children aged 2 to 4 learn through play. Our toddler care focuses on discovery and social interaction. Activities are theme-based and follow a clear daily rhythm, displayed with pictograms so every child feels secure. Outdoors, children enjoy a dedicated playground with age-appropriate equipment, a school garden and a sports field where they explore nature and movement. Staff observe each child’s development and tailor activities accordingly. The transition to primary school is smooth because our toddler group and school work closely together and children already know the setting. Toddler care is offered on Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 8:30 am to 12:15 pm, with extended care on Monday until 2:30 pm. The group welcomes up to 15 children. Each child is assigned a personal mentor who is the first point of contact for both child and parent. Together we create a rich, stimulating environment where every child can flourish.
