Welcome to the after-school care of Kindcentrum LEF, located at Weerdsingel W.Z. 22 in the heart of Utrecht. As part of Montessori Kindcentrum LEF, we provide after-school care that seamlessly aligns with the vision and values of our school. Our BSO is exclusively accessible to students of Kindcentrum LEF and operates in collaboration with SKA, a trusted partner in childcare. After school, it's time to relax, have a drink, share your stories, and then... play! Our pedagogical staff create a warm and safe environment where children can develop freely. We offer a challenging and varied program with activities, workshops, clinics, and excursions in the areas of sports & games, culture, creativity, and nature & technology. Each pedagogical employee has their own talent or specialty, and we often collaborate with other parties to broaden our offerings. Children choose which activities they participate in, fostering their independence and decision-making. Our opening hours are Monday to Friday from 14:00 to 18:30. During regular school holidays and study days of LEF, the BSO is open from 07:30 to 18:30, ensuring parents can rely on us even during vacations. We believe in providing predictability and continuity for both children and parents. We provide healthy and tasty meals and snacks to ensure children have enough energy for all activities. Our outdoor spaces offer plenty of opportunities for play and discovery, while our indoor areas are set up for quiet activities like reading or playing games. The pedagogical climate at the after-school care aligns with that of the school, providing children with a familiar and consistent environment. Collaboration with parents is essential to us. We are open to input and feedback and regularly organize parent evenings and information sessions. Our vision is that every child has unique talents and possibilities, and it is our task to further develop these in a safe and stimulating environment.
