Kindcentrum Koning Groen

Welcome to Kindcentrum Koning Groen, our daycare centre located at Mesdaglaan 2 in Sprang-Capelle. As part of Mikz childcare, we provide care for children aged 0 to 4. Our focus is on outdoor play and discovery. Our name gives it away: we spend a lot of time outside. Every day, we put on our boots and raincoats and head outdoors. Getting dirty is part of the fun and learning process. Together with the children, we create a green living environment in our spacious garden and outdoor play area. We work on a vegetable garden, build huts, have a greenhouse and make our own compost. In this playful way, children learn about nature and the importance of sustainability. Inside, we have bright and spacious group rooms. Since the renovation in 2019, we have a discovery room with an art studio, a cooking studio and a laboratory. Here, children can do experiments, be creative and cook together. For the little ones, we have created cosy corners. After playing outside, they can retreat to the home corner, the construction corner or the reading corner. The pedagogical staff at Kindcentrum Koning Groen provide a safe and challenging environment in which every child feels emotionally secure and can develop optimally. We respond to the child's world of experience and offer unstructured and open materials to stimulate imagination. At Kindcentrum Koning Groen, children grow up in a green environment full of challenges. We believe that children learn to understand the world around them better through play. Every day brings new discoveries and that builds self-confidence. We use the Jaamo parent app so that parents are always informed about their child's well-being.
