Kindcentrum Jonglaren

Kindcentrum Jonglaren is a Christian Dalton child centre located at Ludinge 6 in Zuidlaren. We are part of the Stichting Christelijke Kindcentra Drenthe foundation and offer both primary education and childcare under one roof. For the very youngest we run a day-care centre (KDV) with a maximum of 16 places, specially designed for children aged 0 to 4. Our childcare is focused on giving children a safe, familiar place where they can develop, discover and learn. From our Christian identity we reflect on important life questions and translate Biblical stories to the present day. Together with the children we look for answers to the question of how we can mean something to others. We work according to the five Dalton core values: independence, cooperation, responsibility and freedom, effectiveness and reflection. These values are also integrated into our daily childcare. Our pedagogical staff have an eye for every child and tailor activities as much as possible to individual needs. There is room for rest and regularity, but also for play and discovery. The groups are horizontally arranged, so that children play and learn together in an age group. Our KDV rooms are bright, spacious and safely furnished with corners where children can play, sleep and eat. We have our own outdoor playground that connects to the wooded character of our environment. When the weather is nice, we spend a lot of time outside. Parents can opt for half or full days of care between 7:30 AM and 6:00 PM; extended care until 7:00 PM is possible. Registration and placement are handled through the childcare department of CKC Drenthe.
