Welcome to Kindcentrum Johan Friso in Steenwijk, where we provide professional childcare for children aged 0 to 4 years. Our daycare center is part of Accrete and is located in the same building as the primary school, allowing children to seamlessly transition from childcare to education. We believe in the power of the first 1000 days of a child's life and therefore offer a promising and loving start for babies and toddlers aged 0 to 2 years. For toddlers aged 2 to 4 years, we provide a solid preparation for primary education, ensuring a smooth transition. Our team of pedagogical staff is ready for you and your child every weekday from 6:30 AM to 6:30 PM. These extensive childcare hours are unique in our region and offer flexibility for working parents. We work with horizontal groups, where babies, toddlers, and preschoolers are cared for in age groups. This creates a safe and development-oriented environment, tailored to the specific needs of each age group. Learning through play is central to our approach. We stimulate the development of executive functions through music-making, listening, and lots of movement. Our rich learning environment sparks curiosity and challenges children to think creatively and solve problems. We offer preschool education (VVE), where we personally tailor the journey of each child to their individual needs. This gives every child the opportunity to develop at their own pace and level. Our Christian identity is the foundation of our actions. We believe it is important for children to learn to act responsibly towards themselves, each other, and the world around them. We connect with society and nature, so children learn from an early age to be caring and respectful. Together with parents, we work on the upbringing of the children, as we believe in the power of collaboration. Parenting is something we do together! Our childcare is small-scale and manageable, with a maximum of 30 children per day. We have a separate sleeping room for babies and toddlers, a spacious play area with different corners, and a safe outdoor playground. We provide a homely atmosphere where children feel safe and secure. Our pedagogical staff are professional, involved, and open to your wishes and questions.
