BSO Kindcentrum Jij

Welcome to BSO Kindcentrum Jij, located at Abtslaan 15B in the centre of Terheijden. We are part of Kindcentrum Jij, a unique centre where education and childcare are combined under one roof. Our after-school care (BSO) is designed for children aged 4 to 12 who attend De Boomgaard, De Akker or De Klaproos primary schools. We work closely with these schools to ensure a smooth and familiar transition from classroom to after-school activities. Each school day begins with our pre-school care from 7:00 to 8:30 a.m.—time for breakfast, a calm start or finishing last-minute homework. After school we continue from 2:45 to 6:30 p.m. with exploring, playing and learning. During study days and school holidays we are open from 7:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m., so parents can always rely on us. Our permanent team of enthusiastic pedagogical professionals uses DoenKids: a varied programme built around a weekly theme. Activities include arts and crafts, sports and games, nature and technology projects, drama and cooking. We tailor the programme to the children’s own interests, giving every child space to discover talents and make new friends. We believe children should feel safe and seen. Therefore we work in small, horizontal groups with a maximum of 54 children. Both inside and outside the school building there is plenty of room to move, play or simply relax. Our staff provide personal attention and guide the children in their social-emotional development. In short, at BSO Kindcentrum Jij children can explore the world together with friends after school, while parents work or study with peace of mind.
