Welcome to Kindcentrum Het Nieuwe Land, located at Watersteeg 87 in Amersfoort. We are a public child centre where childcare and education for children aged 0 to 13 come together under one roof. Our daycare wing is specially designed for children aged 0 to 4 and offers a safe, calm and enriching environment where every child can develop at their own pace. We work closely with Stichting Kinderopvang Amersfoort (SKA) and are part of Stichting Meerkring. This means parents have a single point of contact for both education and childcare. Our pedagogical staff and teachers form one close-knit team, ensuring a smooth and familiar transition from daycare to school. For the youngest children, we provide care in separate baby and toddler groups. We use a horizontal group structure, where children are grouped by age. This creates a calm, structured and safe environment. We follow the ‘Vreedzaam’ programme, which teaches children how to deal with emotions, respect one another and cooperate. We also offer early childhood education (VVE) to children with an indication, giving them a strong foundation for their further development from an early age. Our location has its own outdoor space where children can play and explore. We believe it is important for children to be able to move, experiment and learn both indoors and outdoors. Parents are actively involved through the apps Parro (education) and Jaamo (childcare), through which we share daily updates on how their child is doing. In short: at Kindcentrum Het Nieuwe Land, we provide a warm, professional environment where children aged 0 to 4 feel safe, seen and challenged.
