Child Center Haas is a small-scale location on the edge of Legmeer in Uithoorn. Our child center has grown into a fully-fledged site where daycare, toddler care and after-school care (BSO) come together under one roof. For the BSO we welcome children aged 4 to 12 in a familiar, homely environment. We work in small groups, so every child is truly seen. Because many families stay with us for years, children naturally move from the toddler group to our BSO. This continuity gives both children and parents a sense of security: after school they return to familiar faces and a place that feels like second nature. At the BSO our motto is: whenever the weather allows, we play outside. Exercise in the fresh air is healthy and energising. During the school holidays we work with themes; outside the holidays we offer creative activities and sports and games every day. The children choose what they feel like doing. Our pedagogical staff have a wide range of talents: one organises an enthusiastic game of football, another comes up with a craft project. In this way children are always discovering something new and can follow their own interests. Our location at Haas 17 is open Monday to Friday from 7.30 am to 6.30 pm and we are open 52 weeks a year.
