Kindcentrum Drijber

Kindcentrum Drijber is a small-scale after-school care (BSO) located at Nijenkamp 29 in the village of Drijber, municipality of Midden-Drenthe. We are part of Stichting CKC Drenthe and work closely with CBS Drijber within one integral child centre (IKC). As a result, childcare and education flow seamlessly into one another, and children experience no separation between school hours and after-school time. Our BSO offers places for up to 12 children aged 4 to 12. We use a horizontal group structure, allowing children to play, relax and develop in a calm, manageable setting. CKC Drenthe’s pedagogical staff follow an up-to-date pedagogical policy plan approved by GGD Drenthe (registration number 169936454). The plan describes how we shape the pedagogical climate and how, together with parents and the school, we continue to safeguard every child’s well-being and development. Care takes place in the same building as the primary school, so children keep familiar faces and surroundings. We provide care before school, after school and during holidays. Parents are actively involved through a parent committee and can always turn to us with questions or suggestions. Complaints can be submitted both internally and externally; we are affiliated with the Childcare Disputes Committee. Our mission is to offer children a safe, familiar place where they can be themselves and where fun and development go hand in hand. We do this in a professional and enjoyable way, building on the Christian identity of CKC Drenthe.
