Kindcentrum De Wiedewereld

Kindcentrum De Wiedewereld is located at Kloosterweg 32 in the centre of Sint Jansklooster and is part of the Christian education and childcare organisation Accrete. Under one roof we provide both primary education and childcare, offering children from 0 to 13 years one continuous and familiar learning and living environment. For our youngest – babies and toddlers aged 0 to 4 – we have a dedicated day-care centre with a maximum of 16 places. This KDV unit has been officially registered in the National Childcare Register (LRK 316556476) since 10 July 2019 and works closely with the school, ensuring a smooth and familiar transition later on. Our mission is: ‘Together we learn to learn, together we learn to live’. From a Christian identity we create a safe, loving environment in which every child feels seen and valued. Each day starts with a check-in: the children show how they arrived that day – happy, sad or in-between – so our childcare professionals can respond immediately. The very youngest discover the world around them through play. Making music, listening, lots of movement and developing first language skills are central. We work across age groups and tailor activities to each child’s individual pace and level. This gives them space to start their own ‘expedition’ and to develop executive functions, empathy and creativity. The day-care centre has its own sleeping room and a safe, green garden where children can romp and explore nature. We work closely with Kindcentrum Het Kompas in Vollenhove to provide 52 weeks of childcare per year, including during holidays and training days. Parents receive clear information on fees, childcare allowance and settling-in through our service centre. In short, at Kindcentrum De Wiedewereld your child receives a warm, Christian foundation from the first 1,000 days, where play, growth and discovery go hand in hand.
