Kindcentrum De Wenteling

Welcome to the after-school care (BSO) of Kindcentrum De Wenteling, located at Schiphorsten 2 in the heart of Balinge. As part of Stichting Kits Primair, we provide care for up to 20 school-age children from 4 to 12 years old. Our BSO is housed in a modern, small-scale integrated child centre where education and childcare seamlessly blend together. Child development is at the heart of everything we do. We offer a safe, stimulating environment where children can relax, play and discover after school. Our pedagogical staff guide the children with personal attention and encourage them to further develop their talents. We work thematically and focus on 21st-century skills, making use of our modern gym, library and three large group rooms. We integrate the natural surroundings of Balinge and the Broekstreek into our activity programme. Children regularly go into the forest, visit a beekeeper or farm and work in our vegetable gardens. In this playful way, they learn about sustainability and healthy eating. We also use the sports field and playground opposite the child centre for sports and games activities. We are proud of the 'Healthy School' label we have received for this. Our BSO is open after school on school days and during school holidays. We work closely with primary school De Wenteling, ensuring a smooth transition from school to after-school care. Parents appreciate the convenience of one location for both education and childcare.
