Kindcentrum de Welle

Kindcentrum de Welle is a warm and safe place for children aged 0 to 4, located at Slotstraat 87 in Kruiningen. Together with primary school De Welle, we form one organization under one roof, allowing children to grow up in a familiar environment from an early age. Our daycare accommodates up to 31 children and works closely with the playgroup and primary school to ensure smooth transitions. Everything we do revolves around development through play and discovery. We provide a rich learning environment with various play corners where children can build, craft, read, and engage in role-play. The garden is an extension of our group spaces: here, children can play outside to their heart’s content, build sandcastles, and explore nature. We work with themes that connect to the world of young children, sparking their curiosity and creativity. Our dedicated team of pedagogical staff creates a homely atmosphere where every child feels safe and valued. We use a horizontal group structure, with children cared for in age groups. This provides calm and structure and allows us to tailor activities to the child’s developmental stage. For the youngest ones, we have separate sleeping rooms where they can rest peacefully, while toddlers can nap in our cozy beds. We believe it’s important for parents to be involved in their child’s development. That’s why we use a parent portal where we share photos and daily reports. We also organize regular parent meetings and informal moments to connect. For children with specific dietary needs or allergies, we’re happy to create a customized menu. We provide healthy snacks and drinks, following the guidelines of the Netherlands Nutrition Centre. At Kindcentrum de Welle, every child is given the space to develop at their own pace. We offer early childhood education (VVE), which stimulates language and numeracy skills through play. This not only prepares children for school but also for life.
