Kindcentrum De Vogeltuin (KDV)

Kindcentrum De Vogeltuin is a small-scale childcare centre located at Houtduifstraat 24 in Veendam. We are housed within the building of primary school De Ommewending, creating a warm, homely atmosphere with a separate entrance and our own outdoor play area. Our daycare is designed for children from 0 to 4 years old and operates with vertical groups: babies, toddlers and pre-schoolers grow up together and learn from one another. We work with a close-knit, motivated team in which every pedagogical employee contributes her own talents and expertise. The owner/director is present on the group almost every day, so parents and children know her well and can always drop by for a chat or a quick hand-over. Personal contact is very important to us: by consultation, many things are possible and we tailor our care and activities to whatever your child needs. Our opening hours are Monday to Friday from 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. In addition to our fixed indoor space, we have a safe, green outdoor area where children can romp, explore and play. We provide calm, structure and playful development, allowing every child to grow at his or her own pace and simply enjoy being a child.
