Kindcentrum De Stroom is located at Rijnlaan 103 in Helmond and offers a warm, safe place for children aged 2 to 4. As a public integrated child centre, we work from one vision to provide continuous development: from pre-school education in our toddler care to early childhood education in groups 1 and 2. Our pedagogical approach is designed to challenge children to explore the world around them from a sense of security. We offer horizontal groups, where toddlers are placed with peers of the same age. This allows us to tailor activities and guidance precisely to each child’s developmental stage. We follow the VVE location plan (pre- and early-school education), which includes activities that connect with the world of young children. Think of language development through reading aloud, singing and dramatic play; motor development through physical activities in our garden; and creative development through crafts, painting and building. Our team consists of qualified childcare professionals who give each child personal attention. We believe it is important that parents feel involved. That’s why we use the Parro app: a handy tool through which we share photos, reports and newsletters, so parents stay informed about their child’s development. Kindcentrum De Stroom is open on Monday, Tuesday and Thursday from 8:30 AM to 2:30 PM and on Wednesday and Friday from 8:30 AM to 12:30 PM. During school holidays and study days, we provide care from 7:30 AM to 6:30 PM. We work together with KAAT childcare for the practical organisation of care. For children with a VVE indication, different times are possible by arrangement. Our play areas are safe and inviting, with a separate sleeping area for rest periods and an outdoor playground where children can run, climb and explore.
