Kindcentrum De Spreng Barneveld

Kindcentrum De Spreng is located at Van Houtenlaan 3 in Barneveld and is part of the Protestant Christian Organisation for Childcare & Education (PCO Gelderse Vallei). In our integral child centre we combine childcare and education under one roof, so that children from 0 to 13 experience one continuous developmental line. For our youngest children we run two daycare groups with room for up to 24 children at a time to play, sleep and grow. We work from the three core values Meet, Discover and Develop. Our pedagogical staff see every child in his or her uniqueness and tailor activities to the child’s personal developmental stage. The baby and toddler groups are horizontally arranged, so children play with peers and can still move on to the toddler and preschool groups within the same familiar building. We provide a safe, green and challenging play and learning environment where natural wonder is central. Outside we have a spacious garden that invites exploration and movement. Our daycare is officially recognised and uses VVE programmes (early childhood education), so children are stimulated in language, motor skills and social-emotional development from babyhood onwards. We offer both full and half-day care from 7.30 a.m. to 6.00 p.m. Parents receive one fixed contact person and can draw on the overarching expertise of the PCO Academy. In this way we continuously invest in knowledge and innovation so that we can guide your child optimally towards an independent future.
