Kindcentrum de Scharmhof

Kindcentrum de Scharmhof is located at Scharmbarg 1 in the Peelo district of Assen and is part of CKC Drenthe. Under one roof we provide both education and childcare for about 400 children aged 0 to 13. Our after-school care (BSO) is designed for children aged 4 to 13: a familiar and cheerful place where children have fun and continue to develop after school. Our pedagogical staff welcome the children every day with a wide range of activities. We craft, build, play sports and games, and regularly organise excursions so that children can discover new things beyond the school walls. Fruit and drinks are included so that everyone has enough energy to take part. The BSO has its own dedicated space within the child centre and can also use a classroom when needed. The location has a large garden and playground where children can romp to their heart’s content. Thanks to CKC Drenthe’s integrated approach, our pedagogical staff work closely with the primary-school teachers; knowledge about each child’s development is seamlessly shared between school and after-school care. In short, at Kindcentrum de Scharmhof children find a safe, challenging and above all enjoyable place to grow and play after school.
