Kindcentrum De Samenstroom

Welcome to Kindcentrum De Samenstroom in Gemert! We provide care and education for children aged 0 to 13 years. Our location at Predikant Swildensstraat 31 in Gemert was established in 2014 through the merger of the former Michaëlschool, Ds. Swildensschool and Fides Childcare Foundation. We are one integrated child center where education, childcare, care and treatment seamlessly come together. For our youngest children (0-4 years), we have organized horizontal groups. This means children are grouped with peers of the same age, providing calm and structure. Our daycare consists of two groups: Group 1 for children aged 0-2 years and Group 2 for children aged 2-4 years. We also offer toddler care for children aged 2-4 years during school weeks. Our pedagogical staff work daily on four main objectives: providing physical and emotional safety, promoting personal competencies, promoting social competencies, and transferring generally accepted values and norms. We offer Pre-school Education (VE) and use the child tracking system KIJK! to monitor each child's development. Children can enjoy our spacious garden and playground. We regularly organize outings and excursions. For the youngest ones, we provide bottle feeding, fruit and healthy snacks. Special dietary requirements such as vegetarian or halal can be arranged upon request. Parents can stay informed through our parent portal. Our opening hours are Monday to Friday from 7:30 AM to 6:30 PM. Half-day care is possible: from 7:30 AM-1:00 PM or from 1:00 PM-6:30 PM. During holidays we remain open, except for national holidays.
