Kindcentrum De Rietpluim

Child centre De Rietpluim is located in the heart of the Rietlanden residential area in Kudelstaart, at Zonnedauwlaan 63. We are part of Solidoe, an organisation that has been providing childcare in the Aalsmeer, De Kwakel, Kudelstaart and Uithoorn region since 2003. Under one roof you will find every type of care: three vertical day-care groups for children aged 0-4, a toddler group and three after-school-care groups. Because we are literally situated between two primary schools, parents can drop off and pick up their baby, toddler and school-age child at the same location – ideal for families with children of different ages. Our vertical groups offer a homely environment where babies, toddlers and pre-schoolers play and learn together. We follow the principle ‘Space for Your Own Way of Growing’: every child is given room to develop at his or her own pace. Learning through play is central; we use VVE programmes (Pre-school Education) to stimulate language, numeracy and social skills in a playful way. The pedagogical staff know every child inside out and tailor activities precisely to what is needed at that moment. Outside there is a safe, green garden with natural play areas where children can explore, run and climb. We believe it is important for children to get plenty of fresh air and to experience the seasons first-hand. Inside, the rooms are bright and warmly furnished with corners for rest, play and creative development. Separate sleeping rooms allow the very youngest to nap peacefully while the toddlers continue to play. Solidoe is open 52 weeks a year from 7.30 a.m. to 6.30 p.m. We offer flexible care: full or half days, tailored to parents’ schedules. We are also open during school holidays, so working parents can always rely on us. In short, Child centre De Rietpluim is a safe, familiar place where children aged 0-4 grow through play and parents can leave their child with complete peace of mind.
