Kindcentrum De Ontdekkers

Welcome to Kindcentrum De Ontdekkers, located at De Hucht 6 in the heart of Heiloo. As part of Stichting Blosse, we provide a warm and safe place where children aged 0 to 4 can develop optimally. Our daycare is open every weekday from 7:30 AM to 6:30 PM, allowing parents flexible childcare that fits their working hours. We follow the Early Childhood Education (ECE) program Startblokken. This program stimulates language, numeracy and social-emotional development in young children through playful learning. Our pedagogical staff provide activities that connect with the child's world of experience, with fun in play being central. We use horizontal groups, so children play and learn together in an age group. This promotes development and a sense of security. In addition to daycare, we also offer toddler care for children aged 2 to 4. This is available on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday from 8:30 AM to 12:30 PM and on Wednesday until 12:00 PM. Extended toddler care until 2:30 PM is possible on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday. This way, our opening hours seamlessly connect to primary education and children can get used to a school environment. Our child center has its own outdoor space where children can play and discover. We believe it is important that children have space both indoors and outdoors to move and learn. For the youngest children, there are separate sleeping areas, so each child can take their own rest moment. Parents are involved through the Kwieb app, with which we share photos, messages and developments. This way, you are always informed about your child's experiences.
