Kindcentrum de Lavendeltuin is located at Lavendelveld 21 in the Huet district of Doetinchem. We are an integral child centre (IKC) and work closely with De Plattenburg primary school. This partnership creates a seamless pathway for children from 0 to 4 years old. Our centre comprises four vertical groups: the Ladybugs (0-2 years), the Squirrels (2-3 years), the Butterflies (3-4 years) and our after-school care group for primary school children. Each group has its own atmosphere and layout, tailored to the age and developmental needs of the children. We provide Pre- and Early School Education (VVE). This enrichment programme is designed for toddlers aged 2 to 4 who have a VVE indication from the child health clinic. Our pedagogical staff are specially trained in VVE and use recognised methods. We stimulate language, social-emotional development and motor skills in a safe and playful environment, preparing children step by step for a smooth transition to primary school. Outdoors, there is a spacious, green playground where children can romp and explore every day. We regularly use the adjacent park for walks or to feed the ducks. The petting zoo is within walking distance and is a favourite destination for our excursions. Our fixed teams of pedagogical professionals are ready for your child and for you every day.
