Kindcentrum De Koningslinde is located in a quiet, green area at Larixlaan 86 in Nijkerk and is part of PCO Gelderse Vallei, an organisation that combines education and childcare under one roof. Children aged 0 to 4 are given the space to discover, meet and develop in a familiar and safe environment. The day-care centre is fully integrated with the toddler care and primary education, creating one continuous learning and development line that matches the world of experience of young children. Our pedagogical staff work from one clear vision: children learn best when they feel safe and valued. That is why we offer small-scale groups in which every child receives the attention it deserves. We work with vertical groups, so children of different ages learn from and help each other. Learning through play is central: we follow the VVE programmes (Pre- and Early School Education) that stimulate language, numeracy and social skills in a playful way. Daily attention is given to music, movement and stories, always tailored to the child's stage of development. The spacious, bright rooms are furnished with corners where children can build, craft, read or sleep peacefully. Our bedrooms are equipped with cots and cradles, so even the youngest can rest safely and comfortably. Outside, we have a secluded playground with natural play materials that stimulate the imagination. We work closely with the school's internal supervisor, so any developmental issues are identified and addressed at an early stage. Parents are not visitors with us, but partners. We inform you weekly about your child's experiences and are happy to discuss how we can support development. Together we ensure that your child starts his or her school career with a broad smile.
