Kindcentrum de Kloostertuin

Welcome to Kindcentrum De Kloostertuin, located at Aletta Jacobsweg 80 in the Kloosterveen district of Assen. We are a modern child centre offering after-school care (BSO) for children aged 4 to 13. As part of CKC Drenthe, we provide care, relaxation and activities from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Our guiding principle is a continuous line in play, learning and vision on children, captured in our motto: ‘Learning together, shaping together’. Our BSO welcomes up to 69 children per session. The children enjoy a dedicated BSO room that is redecorated every year to enhance its homely feel. Outdoors they can choose between a large playground with sandbox, a private outdoor yard and a sports field reserved for us twice a week. During school holidays and teacher training days we are open from 7:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. We work from one pedagogical vision delivered by one close-knit team of dedicated childcare professionals. Parents report illness or request extra days through the Kids Konnect parent app. The centre closes twice a year for joint study days.
