Kindcentrum de Kinderhof is located in the green, spacious Rustenburg neighbourhood of Amersfoort. Our centre combines preschool care for children from 2 years old, primary education and after-school care under one roof. We are housed in a cosy, dedicated space inside the ABC-school Rustenburg. There is plenty of safe play space around the building and parking is easy. Each day begins with a warm, familiar welcome for our toddlers. We work in small, calm groups so every child receives the personal attention they need. Our pedagogical staff follow each child’s individual rhythm: there is time for play, rest, story-telling, singing songs or simply running around outside. Whenever the weather allows we head outdoors; the children play football, enjoy the sandpit or take a short walk to the nearby Waterwingebied nature area. We provide Early Childhood Education (VVE) using recognisable themes and creative ateliers. These activities are tailored to the world of toddlers: we explore together, learn from one another and make use of a rich learning and play environment. Our core values – ‘child at the centre, together for one another and learning in a rich environment’ – are felt in everything we do every day. Parents are actively involved through the parent app Parro, where you will find photos, daily reports and can easily send us a message. We believe it is important that you feel welcome; you are always invited for a coffee or to join in an activity. Together we ensure that your child feels safe, seen and valued, ready for the next step into primary school.
