Kindcentrum De Grift

Kindcentrum De Grift is located in a unique spot in Hoogersmilde, within a multifunctional facility at Prof. Dr. Obbinkstraat 3. We are an open Christian child centre offering daycare for children aged 0 to 4. Our team of pedagogical staff provides care in a safe, familiar environment where every child can develop at their own pace. We follow the vision of CKC Drenthe: together with parents and children, we create a close-knit living and learning community where children take steps through play and learning. Our daycare consists of two horizontal groups, specifically designed to match the age and developmental stage of your child. The youngest children find rest and security in our baby room, while toddlers and preschoolers play and explore in a stimulating environment with attention to language, motor skills and social development. We follow your child’s daily rhythm as closely as possible, integrating sleeping, eating and playing naturally throughout the day. For the littlest ones we provide bottle feeding, fresh fruit and healthy snacks. Diapers and care products are also included. At Kindcentrum De Grift, early childhood education is central. From the age of 2.5, children receive structured activities tailored to their developmental level. We use the Pravoo child-tracking system to monitor each child’s development and discuss this annually with parents. Our rooms are bright and spacious, with direct access to a secure outdoor area where children can run and discover. We use Social Schools to keep parents informed about their child’s daily experiences. Our location is open 52 weeks a year from 7:30 AM to 6:00 PM. During school weeks we also offer toddler care on fixed days. We are located in a multifunctional facility, creating a continuous line from 0 to 13 years. Parking is free and safe at the door.
