Kindcentrum De Dolfijn

We are Kindcentrum De Dolfijn, located at Baccarastraat 3 in the heart of Aalsmeer-Dorp. Together with primary school De Jozefschool we share a modern building where children aged 0-4 feel safe and at home. Our two vertical daycare groups – the Turtles (0-2 years) and the Guppies (0-4 years) – welcome up to 24 children each day. The rooms are decorated in a cosy, homely style so every child experiences the calm and security they need. At De Dolfijn we work with 18 permanent pedagogical staff, including certified baby specialists and colleagues with paediatric first-aid certificates. We follow a clear daily rhythm that respects the natural needs of young children: play, explore, sleep and eat. The sleeping rooms are directly adjacent to the group areas, equipped with fresh-air systems and individual beds. Outdoors there is plenty of room to grow: our nature playground invites children to romp in the play forest, build sandcastles, ride on the roundabout and spot insects. We also have a children’s kitchen where we run regular cooking workshops, a creative studio for arts & crafts and our own gym where the toddler group enjoys weekly toddler gym. Themes such as ‘the forest’, ‘the season’ or ‘animals around us’ are woven into stories, songs and activities. We use short theme periods so that activities match the children’s world of experience. We take trips with the pull-cart: to the local market for a themed purchase or to the nearby playground. Thanks to our partnership with De Jozefschool, transitions run smoothly: short lines of communication, warm handovers and a shared vision on development ensure that children can unfold at their own pace. We are open 52 weeks a year from 7.30 a.m. to 6.30 p.m. Parents receive photos, sleep and meal updates via our parent app KidsKonnect. Tours are scheduled as soon as an actual place becomes available, so you will not be disappointed. On many days immediate child places are available without a waiting list.
