Kindcentrum De Carrousel

Welcome to Kindcentrum De Carrousel, located at De Ruyterstraat 49 in the heart of Drunen. Our daycare is part of Mikz and provides care for children aged 0 to 4 years. We are open 52 weeks a year and welcome your child in a warm, safe environment focused on development. Our youngest children start in a vertical group for children aged 0-2.5 years. For babies, we have created a low-stimulus, calming environment. We also work with a toddler group and preschool groups. Together with parents, we determine which group best suits the child. We use a vertical group structure, where children of different ages play and learn together. Our childcare center offers extra play space, both indoors and outdoors. We use four units connected by an intermediate door. All groups have their own space, but during playtime, we also use adjacent groups or the large hall. In good weather, we open the outdoor doors and children can walk from the group room into the adjacent enclosed garden. We have two beautiful, large, and naturally designed outdoor playgrounds. Here, children can enjoy themselves in the sand/water play area or while taking a bike ride. We regularly organize picnics. A special feature of our childcare center is that children can not only play outside but also sleep outside. We believe it's important for children to experience nature and fresh air. Additionally, we offer alternating toddler gym, toddler dance, or children's yoga classes. These activities contribute to motor development and the joy of movement.
