Kindcentrum Brede School Noord (Albert Schweitzer)

Welcome to Kindcentrum Brede School Noord (Albert Schweitzer) in Didam. At our location on Lupinenstraat 13, we provide professional after-school care for children aged 6 to 12. Together with Albert Schweitzer Primary School, De Ontdekking Primary School, Table Tennis Club Relax, and De Muizenberg Sports Hall, we are all housed under one roof. This unique collaboration creates a safe and familiar environment where children can come after school for relaxation, play, and development. Our after-school care group "Villa Albert" accommodates up to 24 children. Children are divided into core groups using a horizontal group structure. This means children gather in age groups, which contributes to their social development and building lasting friendships. We apply the Dalton vision in our pedagogical approach: children learn independence and responsibility by doing as much as possible themselves. Our opening hours are flexible and aligned with school times. For before-school care, we start from 7:00 AM until school begins. For after-school care, we start immediately after school and are open until 6:00 PM. During school holidays, we provide holiday care from 7:00 AM to 6:00 PM, also for children without a regular after-school contract. We work with permanent, certified childcare professionals who are trained in the Dalton vision. They guide children in various activities that match their interests and developmental level. Our location has spacious play areas and we use the facilities in the building, including the sports hall for sports activities.
