Kindcentrum Blink

Welcome to Kindcentrum Blink, located at De Wildestraat 38 in Schiedam Nieuwland. We are part of KomKids and provide childcare for children aged 0 to 4 years in a warm, safe environment. From an early age, children can come to us and through close cooperation with the school, children seamlessly transition from full-day care (HDO) to kindergarten. This makes the step to primary school enjoyable and not too big. Our Full Day Care (HDO) offers children aged 0 to 4 years the opportunity to develop themselves in a challenging way through themes and age-appropriate activities. Our pedagogical staff truly contribute to raising children to become individuals who joyfully develop themselves and their talents. They learn through play that they can contribute to society, take responsibility, and have respect for other children and different opinions. For the younger children, we have beautiful spaces with various play corners and a private playground. Here they can explore the world in peace and safety. We work with themes that connect to the children's world of experience and offer activities such as crafts, reading aloud, and outdoor play. These activities not only stimulate creative development but also language and social skills. We believe it's important that children feel safe and secure. Therefore, we have separate sleeping areas where children can sleep peacefully. For the very youngest, we provide bottle feeding and change diapers according to a fixed routine. We take into account any allergies and dietary requirements. Parents can bring their children for half days, which is nice for the transition from home to childcare. At Kindcentrum Blink, we work closely with IKC Blink, ensuring a seamless transition from childcare to primary education. We use the VVE program Startblokken, through which we further stimulate children's development and prepare them for primary school.
