Kindcentrum Bekkers voorschool and Kindcentrum Bekkers full-day care is located at Volendammerweg 160 in Amsterdam Noord. We provide professional preschool care and daycare for children aged 2 to 4. Our team of pedagogical staff works closely with the primary school situated on the same premises, giving children a consistent and familiar environment from toddler to kindergarten age. Toddlers love to play together, learn new things and explore. That is exactly what we offer! We provide a safe and trusted place where children are playfully prepared for primary school. Our activities focus on stimulating language development, motor skills and social abilities through arts and crafts, reading aloud, singing and movement. In this natural way children learn to cooperate, stand up for themselves and help each other. We use horizontal age groups so every toddler receives activities that perfectly match his or her developmental stage. A minimum attendance of three days per week applies; this is due to a quality subsidy from the municipality that allows us to invest extra resources in a rich learning environment.
