Kindcentrum Bekkers BSO

Welcome to Kindcentrum Bekkers BSO, located at Volendammerweg 160 in Amsterdam Noord. We provide after-school care for children aged 4 to 12. Our BSO is part of Kindcentrum Bekkers, an integral child centre that combines development, education and childcare. After school, on Wednesday afternoons and during school holidays, children are welcome to join us. Older children walk independently to the BSO room; younger children are collected by our pedagogical staff. We start the afternoon calmly with shared food, drinks and conversation. On Wednesdays we enjoy a bread meal together. The BSO offers a pleasant, versatile space where children can be creative or relax. Children can do crafts, woodwork and experiment with science activities. These experiences foster independence and self-confidence. We are open Monday to Friday from 14:30 to 18:30; during holidays from 08:00 to 18:30. Our centre follows the Healthy Childcare guidelines, paying conscious attention to nutrition, exercise and contact with nature. We are also affiliated with ‘Bewegen met Nijntje’, a movement programme that lets children be active through play. Together with parents we create a safe, warm place where children can develop.
