Kindcentrum Balans

Welcome to the daycare center of Kindcentrum Balans at Klaverveld 3 in The Hague. We are part of Vlietkinderen and have been providing professional childcare for children aged 0 to 4 years since 2016. Our location accommodates 60 children and is open 52 weeks per year from 7:30 AM to 6:30 PM. Everything we do revolves around play, movement, and safety. Our experienced childcare professionals work according to the vision 'I play, I move, and I feel safe'. We use the observation tool 'KIJK!' to determine what each child needs to develop optimally. For our thematic activities, we use the 'Piramide' method, which provides structure according to established learning lines across developmental areas. Our youngest children (0-2 years) play in calm, home-like vertical groups where attention is given to sleeping, eating, and cuddling. We provide bottles, change diapers, and offer all daily care. For toddlers and preschoolers (2-4 years), we have horizontal groups where we focus on language development with 'Puk & Ko', a method aimed at language and speech development. The children play outside multiple times daily in our secure garden and receive movement lessons in our playroom with gym equipment. We offer preschool education (VE) starting from 2.5 years. In our VE group 'Knus', we work Monday through Friday from 8:15 AM to 12:15 PM with special attention to language, mathematics, and social-emotional development. We use methods such as 'Schrijfdans', 'World in Numbers', and 'Digital Wise' to prepare children for primary school through play. Our location features separate sleeping rooms with cribs, a large garden with play equipment, and a central space for creative activities. We provide fresh, healthy meals and snacks, taking allergies into account. Parents receive daily photos and reports through our app, keeping you informed about your child's development. Together with you, we provide your child with a warm, safe place to grow and flourish.
