Kindcentrum Balade

Kindcentrum Balade is a trusted childcare centre for children aged 0 to 4, located in the multifunctional community building at Balade 6 in Waalwijk. Our centre is part of Stichting Mikz kinderopvang and offers both daycare (KDV) and toddler care. We operate a vertical group where children aged 0 to 4 play and learn together. Babies follow their own daily rhythm, toddlers have their own daily structure, and preschoolers participate in our Early Childhood Education (VE) programmes. Our pedagogical staff take a keen interest in each child’s development. We encourage younger children to play with open-ended materials, because play is learning. Themes are linked to the children’s interests and everyday world. In our daycare group a maximum of three professionals work with up to sixteen children. The cosy group rooms are arranged with various play corners and each group has its own section of the outdoor playground. The location features a large outdoor area created in collaboration with the neighbourhood. Natural materials invite exploration and cooperative play. There is also a nearby football field where children can run and move. We believe it is important that children feel safe and secure and that parents feel welcome. Our warm team is close to both the children and their parents.
