KDV Aquamarijn

Welcome to KDV Aquamarijn, located at Turfmarkt 5 in the heart of Zwolle. We are part of Kindcentrum Aquamarijn, where Christian childcare and education come together under one roof. Our daycare offers small-scale, Christian childcare in a homely atmosphere. We welcome children from 12 weeks to 4 years in three age groups: the Mice (0-2 years), the Rabbits (0-2 years) and the Foxes (2-4 years). Each group has its own space, tailored to the developmental needs of that age. Personal attention is central to us. Our pedagogical staff take time for each child and maintain close contact with parents. We work according to Biblical norms and values and want every child to feel safe, seen and loved. Daily we offer experience-based activities: singing, crafts, reading aloud, outdoor play and exploring in the nature garden. We believe outdoor play is important and are further enhancing our garden so that outdoor play is not only fun, but also educational. For the youngest there is rest, warmth and lots of physical contact. Toddlers receive security and challenge in a safe environment. Toddlers play in a rich environment with different play corners and receive activities that match their development. We prepare them playfully for primary school. A unique part of our program is the weekly visit to the IJsselheem nursing home. On Mondays the children go with 'grandpas and grandmas' to color, sing and play games – always a party! Our opening hours are Monday to Friday from 07:30 to 18:30. We work with the parent portal Konnect, so you receive photos and reports via an app and are always informed about your child's day.
