Kindcentrum Adriaan van den Ende

Welcome to Kindcentrum Adriaan van den Ende, located at Klaprooslaan 2 in the heart of Warnsveld. We are a public integrated child centre where education and childcare flow seamlessly together. Since 2019 we have worked closely with childcare organisation Small steps, offering after-school care (BSO) for children aged 4 to 13. Our centre is housed in a brand-new, transparent building right in the neighbourhood. From every classroom children look out onto the surrounding area, experiencing their place in society in a natural way. The BSO uses the same spaces as the primary school, making the transition from school to after-school care small and familiar. We follow the pedagogical programme ‘The Leader in Me’. This approach centres on seven habits that teach children to take initiative, accept responsibility and interact respectfully with others. Through play they develop leadership skills and learn to make choices that match their own talents and interests. Our pedagogical staff guide them and provide activities tailored to the world of primary-school children. Our team consists of ten pedagogical staff, twenty teachers, four teaching assistants, two quality coordinators, a childcare coordinator and our director Jettie de Meer.
