Kindcentrum ABS

Kindcentrum ABS is located in the heart of historic downtown Middelburg at Zuidsingel 17. We are a daycare center (KDV) that forms part of Kindcentrum ABS, which also includes the primary school of the same name. This unique concept provides children aged 0 to 4 with a familiar environment where childcare and education seamlessly connect. For our youngest ones, we have a quiet baby room designed with minimal stimuli, where babies can play safely and explore crawling in the playpen. Toddlers enjoy themselves in a separate area with age-appropriate toys. We work with horizontal groups, separating babies and toddlers for care. Our location offers unique outdoor play opportunities. The annual ring riding event literally takes place at our doorstep, and the horse-drawn tram regularly passes by - a delight for our children to watch. Toddlers and preschoolers occasionally play together, allowing toddlers to already meet the preschoolers and teachers from school. This makes the transition to primary school smoother later on. As part of Kindcentrum ABS, we work closely with the school and align with their themes. This creates a continuous developmental line for your child from 0 to 12 years, all on one familiar location in downtown Middelburg.
