Kienehoef PO

Peuteropvang Kienehoef is part of De Verbinding and located within primary school Kienehoef at Mariannestraat 34a in Sint-Oedenrode. We provide care for up to 16 children aged 2 years and 3 months to 4 years. The setting is ideal for families living in the Kienehoef or Kinderbos neighbourhoods and works closely with the primary school to ensure a smooth transition into formal education. Our programme follows a pre-school education curriculum (VE) offered four mornings a week from 08:30 to 12:30. In addition, regular toddler care is available every weekday from 08:30 to 11:45, extendable to 13:45 on Monday, Tuesday and Thursday. During school holidays the toddler group is closed. Groups are organised horizontally: children of similar ages are together. This allows our pedagogical staff to focus on development goals appropriate for this stage. We concentrate on language, numeracy and social skills through thematic play-based learning. The partnership with Kienehoef primary school ensures that our activities and themes align with what the children will encounter later at school, easing the transition. In short, Peuteropvang Kienehoef offers a safe, small-scale environment where toddlers can grow and develop through play, with ample attention to language, motor skills and social development.
