Kiekeboe

Kiekeboe Daycare is a warm, small-scale childcare facility located within the Frans ten Bosch primary school at Rode van Heeckerenstraat 26 in Lichtenvoorde. We provide care for children aged 0 to 4 years in two horizontal groups: a baby group for children up to 18 months and a toddler group for children from 18 months to 4 years. Each group has a maximum capacity of 16 children, allowing us to give personal attention to every child. Our pedagogical staff create a home-like and safe environment where children can develop at their own pace. We work with the VVE program Piramide, which stimulates children's development through play. For the youngest children, we have a special baby room with a large playpen and a separate baby garden where they can safely explore. Toddlers can enjoy our spacious garden with play equipment and natural elements. We believe it's important for children to experience structure and recognition in their day. Therefore, we work with fixed daily routines and our pedagogical staff are consistently present. Daily, we provide a warm, fresh meal prepared in our own kitchen, taking into account any allergies or dietary requirements. For babies, we record all feeding and sleeping moments in a communication book, so parents know exactly how their child spent the day. Our activities are tailored to the age and development of the children. For babies, we offer cuddle moments, singing and movement games. Toddlers can participate in dance and music activities, crafts, reading moments and gym games. We also pay attention to potty training and developing independence, always in consultation with parents.
