Welcome to Kidswereld Peuteropvang Nederhorst den Berg, located at Platanenlaan 3 in the heart of Nederhorst den Berg. Part of the trusted Kidswereld B.V. organisation, we have been providing warm, professional childcare since 1994. Our toddler care is specifically designed for children aged 2 to 4 years and operates in small, horizontal groups of up to 14 children, guided by two permanent, professional pedagogical staff members. We prepare your child for primary school in a playful way. In close consultation with the kindergarten teacher of the adjacent school, we align our activities with what will be expected in groups 1 and 2. Central to this are sharing together, playing together and developing language and social skills. We work thematically: for example, for a whole week we dive into the theme ‘animals in autumn’, during which we craft with leaves, read stories about hedgehogs and go outside to look for tracks in nature. The nature garden adjacent to our location offers ample space for this. Our spacious, bright group room is set up with different corners: a reading corner with picture books, a construction corner with wooden blocks and a creative corner where we daily model, paint or cut and paste. We follow a fixed daily structure: play and discovery, shared fruit time, some more play and then home in time. For parents who wish, half-day care is possible.
