Kidsclub Noordhove

Welcome to KIDSclub Noordhove, the after-school care facility in Zoetermeer for the oldest BSO children aged 8.5 to 12 years. Located at Sullivanlijn 31, we provide a safe and challenging environment where children can be themselves and discover their talents. Our dedicated team of pedagogical staff is ready to guide children in their development and help them grow in a healthy and opportunity-rich environment. KIDSclub Noordhove is specially designed for children who already have a certain level of independence. Children come independently from school to our location and can choose which activities they want to participate in. We offer a varied range of activities that are planned together with the children. Think of creative craft activities, sports and movement activities on our large grass field and sports field, and educational excursions in the area such as visits to playgrounds, museums, or petting zoos. Our location has two spacious classrooms. The first classroom has space for 14 children and the second for 30 children (on Tuesdays and Thursdays). We have a large garden with play equipment where children can go outside daily to play and move. During school weeks, we also organize small excursions in the neighborhood, such as a scavenger hunt or a visit to a nearby playground. During school holidays, we collaborate with Kidsclub de Leyens on Hitchcockstrook 24. Here we have a beautiful standalone building (formerly a farmhouse) at our disposal where we can organize even more exciting activities. Think of visits to the Army Museum, a journey through the human body at the Corpus museum, farmer's golf, or building birdhouses. Children receive a holiday booklet well in advance with all planned activities. We encourage children's self-reliance by cycling to activities, as preparation for secondary school. We work with the gro-up parent portal where parents can register and deregister their child, request extra care, and view photos. We also communicate through newsletters and our website. We highly value collaboration with parents and have an active parent committee that thinks along about the quality of our care. KIDSclub Noordhove is there for all children in the Noordhove district who can independently come from primary school to our location. We collaborate with various primary schools in the area and pick up children from schools within walking distance. For schools that are further away, we use (bike) buses or have arrangements with a taxi company.
