Welcome to Kidscasa Childcare location De Vuurtoren, a warm and homely daycare centre located in the heart of Haulerwijk. We are situated in the multifunctional facility ‘de Samensprong’, which gives us access to two large, bright and homely rooms. One room is specially designed for our youngest children, while the other is tailored for older toddlers. Both rooms are adjacent to the early-years classrooms of primary school De Laweij, creating a natural link to the school environment. For our youngest guests, we offer quiet sleeping rooms where children can rest safely and peacefully. When the weather is nice, children play in our own enclosed outdoor area; when it’s not, we use the spacious indoor play hall of de Samensprong. At De Vuurtoren we work with vertical groups: children from 0 to 4 years are together in one group. This encourages social development and allows children of different ages to learn from each other. We follow a consistent daily routine that provides structure, safety and predictability, while still leaving plenty of room for activities such as music, creative development, outdoor play and movement. We offer pre-school education (VVE), focusing playfully on language, numeracy and social skills. Thanks to our small-scale setting with a maximum of 16 children, our pedagogical staff know every child and parent personally. We believe in a warm handover. That’s why we start with an intake conversation and a short settling-in period, so your child quickly feels at home. Parents are always welcome for a tour or a cup of coffee. We are proud to be a place where children love to come and where parents can leave their children with confidence.
