Welcome to Kids Society Erica, Jacob Catsstraat location, our daycare centre in the heart of Nuenen. We provide care for 94 children aged 0–4 in a modern, open building with spacious outdoor play areas. The site is part of the De Dassenburcht child-centre campus, allowing us to offer a seamless continuum from baby to preschooler. Our five horizontal daycare groups – Orange Guppies, Blue Peacocks, Purple Butterflies, Golden Lions and Green Chameleons – each focus on their own age level. Our pedagogical policy centres on growth, development, happiness and fun. All staff are trained in early childhood education (VVE) and provide tailored activities such as language and numeracy sessions, creative workshops in our in-house studio, sports and games in our indoor theatre, and plenty of outdoor play in the nearby woods. Babies receive bottle feeding, nappies and peaceful naps in separate sleep rooms. Toddlers enjoy a bread meal and healthy snacks; we accommodate allergies and special diets. Parents experience us as an extension of their family; we share daily observations and work closely together. Because our location also houses the Kids Society Erica service office, communication lines are short. Together we give every child a solid foundation for the future.
